David Sharp Jr.

Born into a family of professional snowmobile athletes, David Sharp Jr., the son of former pro racer David Sharp Sr. & nephew of former pro racer Brad Sharp, was destined for the podium. With seven years of racing under his belt, he is one of the most accomplished young racers in the most prestigious hillclimb circuit, RMSHA.

David competed in his first RMSHA race at age fourteen and entered the circuit at the young age of fifteen. As a semi-pro competitor he won ten king titles and was the first semi-pro in history to win "Racer of the Year" on the RMSHA circuit.

David is also the youngest racer to turn professional on the circuit, racing pro when he was only seventeen. Now, 7 years later, David has accomplished one Improved Stock King World Champion title at Jackson Hole, six pro king titles, and managed to be in the top five of points champions every year racing. He has been in several snowmobile films with 509 Inc., featured in multiple Wyoming & Washington newspapers, as well as shown on KIMA TV. With a background in backcountry riding, freestyle, and hillclimb racing- David is a multi-faceted snowmobile competitor. He grew up riding with X-Games gold medalist Joe Parsons and has rode with other notable professional snowmobile athletes such as Cory Davis, Heath Frisby, and fellow RMSHA pros with his very own father being a seasoned racer himself. With his new partnership as a factory rider for Polaris Industries, he hopes to further his career in snowmobiling and take the sport to the next level.

The young racer is looking forward to garnishing his racing resume with more king titles, another world championship title at Jackson Hole, and many more exciting snowmobile projects for the 2015 season!
